At this year’s AeroDef Manufacturing conference, Machina Labs showcased its flexible factory capabilities with a subscale demonstrator of the legendary SR-71 Blackbird – produced using our AI-enabled RoboCraftsman platform.
The project highlights our ability to rapidly form high-performance aerospace structures without traditional tooling (or powder) – accelerating timelines from concept to prototype to LRIP. While much of Machina's ongoing work with missile systems, hypersonics, and glide vehicles remains confidential, this demonstrator provides a public glimpse into how RoboForming is transforming manufacturing for next-gen defense applications.
