Inside the Machina Factory: Live Defense Manufacturing Showcase

Defense manufacturing is under pressure. Programs are facing increasing demand for complex metal structures while navigating long lead times, tooling constraints, and limited flexibility across production environments.

On May 20, 2026, Machina opens its factory in Chatsworth, California for a hands-on look at a new approach, one designed to address those constraints directly.

In partnership with the Southern Pacific Aerospace & Defense Alliance (SPADA), this event brings together engineers, program leaders, manufacturers, and policymakers for a working session inside an active production environment.

The Details
Wednesday, May 20, 2026
3:00 - 6:00 PM (Doors at 2:30 PM)
Machina Labs, 20559 Prairie St, Chatsworth, CA 91311

The Agenda:

• Live forming of metal structures (no dies/no tooling)
• Post-forming operations workflow: trimming, drilling, heat, and assembly
• How Machina moves from Prototype → LRIP → Production
• A preview of how this scales into larger factory infrastructure (Machina Factory 3)
• Networking with SPADA + an industrial style cocktail reception

There is no shortage of discussion around the future of manufacturing. What’s often missing is direct access to working systems and real production environments.

This is an opportunity to see how metal structures move from CAD to production inside a working factory.
